Our printing and embroidery departments are often under great pressure over the festive season because everyone orders their goods at the last minute and need it ASAP.
How to ensure that you get those goods on time
- Plan for your parties and gifts at least 3 months before (Sept-Oct) so that you can ensure that the stock you require is available and that any other processing (like printing) is booked.
- Prepare all the information like products, quantities and colours needed.
- Have all artwork ready. If you need your logo to be printed on a pen for example, think about the sizing, location and pantone colours. Make sure that the logo/ artwork is in a high resolution format of 300 dpi and up/ that it is in vector format.

The continued success of Markex Gauteng has set a precedent for the launch of the inaugural Markex KZN 2007 event, to be held in Durban at the International Convention Centre from 14 – 16 August.
Over 10 000 people visited the Gauteng event at Sandton Convention Centre in June and Exhibitions for Africa – organisers of Markex KZN – are positive the Durban exhibition will be as successful.

This is the final video of the basic printing process. Before you can start with your t shirts or whatever you intend printing, visit your local screen printing supplier and research the materials and equipment needed. In the meantime, I will do some research and try and post videos regularly to help those who are interested in screen printing. Good luck with those t shirts.
