Here’s a behind the scenes look at t shirt manufacturing – a 22 second glimpse of our CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) factory.

The garment in this video, is in the previous post about LavaLab designer wear. This factory has, and is still producing for companies like Truworths, so the quality is top-notch and that’s why we use them.
Spent some time with the printers this afternoon, who were busy with an order of 20 000 t-shirts for a well known company. I spoke to our screen printing expert and he said that he’s doing about 4000 t-shirts a week for this job and another couple of 1000′s for other clients. What’s great about the way he has set up the plant is that the company can do smaller orders (as low as 30 units) and be just as productive as when it does 100 000 units.
